Dissertation is devoted to consider military interventions of USSR in internal affairs of Hungary in 1956 and Czechoslovakia in 1968. For the first time military and political aspects of above-mentioned problem are studied fully in Ukrainian history science. In dissertation is shown general features and peculiarities concerning causes, political sense, disposition and results of military interventions of USSR in the internal affairs of Hungary and Czechoslovakia, as well as is summarized the experience of using armies and resistance to it actions during intervention, is drawn up recommendations regarding considering of it lessons in modern conditions.
