Matsko N. V. Steel welders occupational risk factors and their ishemic heart disease development and processing.

Working environment and hygienic conditions of labor were studied (300 air samples, 150 microclimate measurements). The clinical courses of ishemic heart disease (IHD) in welders (160 case histories and 148 case histories of control group) were investigated. Pathomorfological IHD peculiarities on the base of 106 section records of dead welders and 108 section records of dead, which belonged to the IHD control group, were studied.
It was revealed, that concentration of welding aerosol was 9,1 – 55,3 mg/m3, content of manganese oxide was from 0,21 to 0,5 mg/m3. IHD in welders was observed in more young age (50-59 years) than in control group. Localization of process was in the hinder wall of left heart ventricle.
Difference between biological age and proper biological age in welders with IHD at the age of 41-50 was 12,56 + 1,76 years, while in the deceased from IHD the difference between tentative biological age and the corresponding biological age was 18,51 + 1,4 years.
The results of studies give basis to admit that in welders are observed considerable acceleration of the aging of the organism.
Welders IHD are developed on the base of coronary artery affection by chemicals-welding aerosols ingredients with the vasculitis and early arteriosclerosis development under the general and cardiovasotoxic effect.
