SUMMARY
Chekmarjova I.V. Morphological changes of thymus and spleen after trauma of sciatic nerve and correction by immunosuppressive drug. – Manuscript.
The dissertation on competition of a scientific degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences on a speciality 14.03.09 – Histology, Cytology, Embryology. – Bogomolets National Medical University. Kiev, 2005.
Experiment was carried out on 106 white nonlinear rats. Rats have divided into next groups: I – the operation by modeling a standard trauma of the sciatic nerve was carried out; II – cyclosporin A was entered during 18 days after similar operation; III – control group. Structure of thymus, spleen and sciatic nerve was investigated in terms 3, 6, 12 weeks after trauma. Changes in a structure of thymus and spleen after traumatic damage of sciatic nerve are typical for antigenic stimulation. The cellular structure of thymus and spleen were investigated after trauma of sciatic nerve and action of cyclosporin A. The received results testify changes of thymus cellular structure and spleen cellular structure after trauma of a peripheral nerve. It is accompanied by changes in correlation of various forms lymphocytes (big, average, small) and pre-lymphocytes. These changes are expressed less after application of cyclosporin A.
Key words: thymus, spleen, sciatic nerve, immunosuppressive drug, lymphocytes.
