A. Sichkar. The growth and productivity of the mixed crops of corn on silage depending on selection of high protein components and measures of cultivation in Southern Forest-Steppe Zone of Ukraine. – Manuscript.
The dissertation is for conferring the scientific degree of the candidate of agricultural sciences on speciality: 06.01.09 – plant-growing. National Agrarian University, Kiev, 2001.
The results of the trials include the question of water, nutritious regime of soil, growth and development, phytoclimate, photosynthesis, crops contaminations, chemical composition tap root residues, crop structure, productivity, economic and energetic effectiveness of mixed crops depending on selection of components and measures of care.
The best components for the mixed crops in the 3-rd decade of April with inter-row 70 cm are soybean and white sweetclover. The pre-sowing and post-sowing tillage with two interrow cultivations radically lowered infestation and improved the productivity of sowing. Combination of the best variants of mixtures and ways of their growth gave the net profit of 1297 and 1306 hrn./ha, at the level of profitability - 262 and 252 %, the energetic effectiveness was (CEE) 5,96-6,24.
Key words: high protein components of mixtures, different inter-row width, photosynthesis, milky-wax ripeness, crop structure, productivity, protein, sowing dates, measures of care, efficiency of cultivation.
