Malynka L.V. Lowland Meadow Productivity of the Ukrainian Polissia Depending on Undersowing Nerms of Perennial legume Grasses. – Manuscript.
Thesis for the degree of Candidate of Agricultural Scienses in the speciality 06.01.12. – fodder production and grassland science. Institute of Agriculture of the UAAS, Kyiv, 2005.
The thesis states the results of research conducted on lowland meadows of the Ukrainian Polissia on the development of measures of the prolongation of productive longevity of legume-grass into them.
It is investigated an influence of undersowing of different legume grass varieties in the second and third years of use into initial red clover and alfalfa-grass stands as well as the terms all the year of conduct of this measure into old-sown grass stand upon the details of their transformation. When long-term (7 years) using on the botanical composition, component density and linear growth; the productivity on the dry matter yield per hectare, feed unit, crude protein, gross and exchange energy, the symbiotic nitrogen accumulation by green weight of top and the level of compensation of mineral nitrogen by it, the biochemical composition of fodder on organic substance as well as macro- and microelement and caesium – 137 content in it, the economic and energy efficiency.
It is established that in the given agroecological conditions the treatments of undersowing with legume component change in the years of use of legume-grass sown cenoses provided the greatest amount of legume grasses in cenoses, the highest productivity – 45-50 hkg/ha feed units, symbiotic nitrogen accumulation with the best nutritiousness, energy-saturation, hight protein content and good mineral composition of fodder. The better term of its conduct was revealed early-spring one.
Key words: botanical and biochemical composition, legume and grass herbs, economic and energy efficiency of meadow cenoses, symbiotic and mineral nitrogen.
